Polyera Achieves 6.4 Percent All-Polymer Organic Solar Cell Performance

Result was obtained in an inverted bulk heterojunction architecture

Polyera has achieved a certified world-record efficiency of 6.4% for fully-polymeric organic solar cells. This result was obtained in an inverted bulk heterojunction architecture combining Polyera new ActivInk PV2700 active layer blend, consisting of proprietary polymeric donor and polymeric acceptor semiconductors, and improves upon Polyera’s previous world record of 5.2%.
